When you enter a hotel room after a long day, you might notice a neatly arranged strip of fabric placed across the foot of the bed. At first, it can appear purely decorative. In reality, this piece—commonly known as a bed runner—has several practical uses beyond its visual appeal. Hotels carefully plan every detail to balance comfort and cleanliness, and the bed runner is part of that effort.
