A man and a woman are in bed together when a sudden loud noise echoes through the house.
The woman immediately freezes. Her eyes widen, and she whispers in panic, “That’s my husband! You have to get out of here!”
The man is terrified. He quickly jumps out of bed, grabs his clothes, and rushes toward the nearest window. He climbs out, lands in the bushes, and runs into the darkness as fast as he can.
Once he reaches the street, he stops to catch his breath.
But then something starts bothering him.
Something doesn’t add up.
After thinking for a moment, he suddenly realizes the obvious.
He turns around, walks back to the house, and knocks on the door.
The woman opens it.
He looks at her and says, “Wait a second… I’m your husband!”
She stares at him for a moment, then crosses her arms and raises an eyebrow with a knowing smile.
“Oh?” she says. “Then why did you run?”
