TikTok Satirist Says She Filed a Lawsuit Against Her Parents for Being Born Without Her Consent

Just when it seems like TikTok has run out of surprises, Kass Theaz appears with a viral claim that she sued her parents for giving birth to her without her consent. In her widely shared video, she jokingly states that she won the case and now receives $5,000 a month in “involuntary life support” payments.

Based in New Jersey, Kass Theaz is a satirical creator known for exaggerating extreme “woke” arguments to absurd levels for comedic effect.

In a 2023 TikTok video, she claimed she had taken legal action against her parents for bringing her into the world without asking her permission.

“I was not aware that I was going to have to grow up and get a job and support myself…I did not consent to that. They didn’t try to contact me in anyway before I was born to see if I actually wanted to be here,” she joked in the clip. “If you are pregnant right now you need to go you need to hire a psychic medium and ask if they actually wanna be here.”

She continued the parody by suggesting that otherwise, children might sue their parents—framing it as a “life mission” to encourage kids to avoid working altogether.

‘Ethical’ parenting

In another viral video with millions of views, she referenced shopping for her children while pointing out the irony of being a parent given her earlier “lawsuit” against her own.

“It’s different when you adopt because it’s not my fault that they’re here. I’m just trying to be a good person and help them out. You know what I mean?” she said.

Many viewers initially took the content seriously, flooding the comments with shocked or sarcastic reactions. Some joked about reverse lawsuits from children, while others played along with the absurd premise.

Monthly ‘allowance’

Responding to a comment wishing her success in court, Theaz followed up with another satirical clip claiming the court ruled in her favor, awarding her $5,000 monthly from her parents for basic living expenses like housing, food, and clothing.

She continued the joke by saying any additional income from working would simply be “extra spending money,” insisting her parents would remain responsible for her “for life” since she was never asked for consent to be born.

Disclaimer

Her exaggerated story was later picked up by some media outlets that missed the satirical context, despite her profile clearly labeling her content as comedy.

Theaz later explained that she assumed the joke was obvious, adding that people often react without checking the intent behind viral content.

‘Trans-species’ son

In another comedic video, she jokingly claimed her “son” came out as a cat and expressed “mom guilt” for not taking his identity seriously, humorously describing attempts at litter-box training and even proposing a “trans-species child tax credit.”

Her deadpan delivery and commitment to the absurd premise are what make the satire convincing—and often mistaken for reality.
