Tired of her old car, the wife complained to her husband day after day, until her birthday finally gave her the perfect chance to be crystal clear about what she wanted.
“I want something that can go from 0 to 100 in 4 seconds,” she said firmly, “and it has to be blue.”
Her husband simply nodded, as if he understood exactly.
On the morning of her birthday, she was buzzing with excitement. She hurried outside, expecting the surprise she had been dreaming of.
Parked neatly in front of the house was a beautifully wrapped blue box.
Her pulse quickened. “He actually got it,” she thought, already picturing a sleek, powerful car.
She ripped the wrapping open without hesitation.
Inside… was a blue bathroom scale.
For a second, everything went quiet—the kind of silence that signals trouble.
And just like that, the laughter stopped for good.
