I was the one sitting in the stands at their soccer games, attending recitals, remembering birthdays, and showing up whenever they needed me. I treated Ava and Bella like they were my own and invested my time, money, and love into their lives.<\/p>\n

I genuinely believed I was building a family.<\/p>\n

Being a father figure isn’t just about paying for things or showing up. It’s about mutual love, respect, and connection.<\/p>\n

If they don’t want me to be their father, I have to accept that.<\/p>\n

But they also can’t expect the benefits of a relationship they’ve repeatedly rejected.<\/p>\n

No more chasing.<\/p>\n

No more trying to buy my way into their hearts.<\/p>\n

No more sacrificing my dignity just to feel wanted.<\/p>\n

For the first time in ten years, I’m choosing to invest my time and energy in someone whose well-being I’ve neglected for far too long:<\/p>\n
