They felt the woman acted with remarkable entitlement by expecting me to leave my own home, especially after arriving without permission and attempting to claim it as hers.<\/p>\n
Others noted that if my former partner’s mother believed the woman and child needed help, she was free to welcome them into her own home.<\/p>\n
The advice I heard most often was simple: protect myself, speak with a lawyer, avoid being manipulated, and remember that none of this happened because of anything I did.<\/p>\n
